February 26- March 22 • Forecast online at home/school using Career Cruising (WHS website & Counseling Center) Career Cruising Video Career Cruising directions Forecasting sheet for current 8th graders FR Honors English Application Friday, March 22, 2013 • Latest date to turn in your printed and signed Forecasting form to PT (3rd period) teacher
Career Cruising Login? You will need two items: • Username • WASD-student ID (front of ID card) • Password • Birthdate (mmddyyyy) • If born Jan 5, 1995 =01051995
Freshman-Courses Required Courses • Freshman English • Math • Science Suggested Courses • PE • Health • Social Studies • CTE or Fine Art • Foreign Language You will always register for 6 credits. Each course =.5 credit per semester.
Sophomore Courses REQUIRED • Sophomore English • Math • Science • Biology if you took Physics/Chemistry • Physics/Chemistry if you took Biology Suggested, especially if not already completed. • PE elective • Health • Social Studies • WA State History? • Foreign Language • 2 consecutive yrs for colleges • CTE or Fine Art You will always register for 6 credits. Each course =.5 credit per semester.
Junior Courses REQUIRED • Junior English • Math • Algebra II or Pre-cal if thinking about college/university • US History Suggested, especially if not already completed. • PE elective • Health • Social Studies • WA State History? • Foreign Language • 2 consecutive yrs for colleges • CTE or Fine Art You will always register for 6 credits. Senior Courses REQUIRED • Senior English CWP/Civics or AP Gov & Politics • Math or math based course • If applying to college/university Meet all other requirements. • English – 4 credits • Social Studies – 2.5 (3 for college) • Math- 3+ credits • Science- 2+ years (Life/physical) • Foreign Language (2+ College bound) • Fine Arts- 1+ credits • PE/Health- 2+ credits • CTE- 2+ credits unless 1 credit waiver You will always register for 6 credits. Each course =.5 credit per semester.
