Proposal on how to compare sexp (f/Z+b) with sth (f/Z+b) • Cuts used in analysis: • Exp. cut: pTb > pTexpcut • Gen cut at LO ME+PS : pTb > pT gen cut • Th. cut for sth at NLO : pTb > pTthcut • The way could be: • use Gen cut = Th.cuts (pT gen cut= pTthcut) • useExp.cut > Th. Cuts • pT exp cut > pTthcut + ~ 2 x sjet resolution • go from pTexp to pTth cuts using MC; correct difference in acceptance (pT, h ) between NLO and ME+PS using factor: • R = [sthexp.cuts/sthth.cuts] / [sLO+PSexp.cuts/sLO+PSth.cuts], • for LO ME+PS apply pT/h cuts on parton b-jets
