  3. Listening to God This module explores the dynamics of listening to God’s presence and attentiveness as experienced by Ellen White.

List of barriers that impact our ability to listen effectively to God’s voice • Deep unresolved pain • Dissatisfaction rooted in early religious experience • Authoritarian, chauvinistic, hypocritical, unforgiving attitude • Some find it difficult to live with the reality that can one can only be accepted by faith • Allow students to share personal reflections and to list other barriers
