  1. Please save the life of Sraboni An urgent appeal to help to save the life of Dhruba’s wife

  2. Druba & Sraboni got married in 10th March 2010. After 5 months of their marriage, Sraboni becoming whitish & felt very weak. They vistied to see Prof. HAM Nazmul Ahasan, Head, Dept of Medicine, DMCH who suggested to do some blood counts. The lab results showed very low blood counts for all of three ingredients (i.e., Hemoglobin, Platelet and WBC). The doctor suggested to admit in hospital immediately, do blood transfusion and to do bone marrow examination. When they got the test result, the doctor confirmed that it is a diseases called ‘Aplastic Anemia’ a medical condition where bone marrow cannot produce sufficient blood cell. Druba needs your help to save his wife Later they were referred to CMC hospital, Vellore, India where we saw Dr. Alok Srivastava, Prof and Head, Clinical Haematogy in September, 2010. They stayed their for 1 months & did the test for 3 times & all test result confirmed that Bone Marrow diseases.

  4. Druba is working with Huawei for last 3 years. He passed HSC from Notre dame College. He is a CSE graduate from Khulna University & MBA from Dhaka University Druba is the only son of his family. His father was a school teacher of Sarisbari pilot girls school & college & died 3.5 years ago. As a person, Druba is a very good engineer with helpful mentality & positive attitude About Druba & Sraboni • Sraboni is currently studying in Home Economics college in Fine Arts department Dhaka University • Sraboni’s father was a small businessman who is in retirement due to brain hemorrhage • Sraboni’s mother is working as a supervisor in family planning in Bagerhat.

  5. Treatment Cost Sraboni requires 40 lac taka for bone marrow transplantation treatment in Valore, India which is the cheapest in the world. If it would done in Singapore, it takes 1.5 crore taka to do the treatment. Sraboni’s Elder sister will help to donate the Bone Marrow. There is 25% chance to match the bone marrow. Daily prothom alo publish news in above heading. [‘Will Sraboni will not get a new life’] on 24 November in Narimoncho. Follow up news will be published next Wednesday. In internet, one group has been open in facebook [Please save Sraboni, Dhurab’s wife] to connect people around the world. Numerous blogs have been published with pledge for help. Druba’s friends, ex & present colleagues, well-wishers, relatives, batch-met around the world are trying to help him within their ability. They are also campaigning in different Bangladeshi student group & community.

  6. Treatment cost - Continue আসুন একটু এগিয়ে আসি – একটু মানবিক হই Four account has been sponsored by Druba’s friends across USA, Canada, Europe & Australia to transfer money from world wide. It cost 40000 BDT every month for medicine. Druba’s family already spend 3 Lac taka & sold all gold ornaments to bear the cost. Till now Druba has able to collect only BDT 7.5 Lac through his well-wishers. To make up with 40 Lac, huge help & support is required from us Lets put our hands together to help Druba, so that he can hold his wife’s hand for their whole life. Our small help will become a giant support for Druba for life to live with his wife.
