Park-N-Ride - How does it work? • Transwestern first looks to pipeline system for capacity • TW contracts independently with third party to provide enhanced service • Systematic allocation by price
Limited Firm Transport Service - How does it work? • TW posts capacity available • Parties agree to number of “limited days” • General tariff provisions apply • Demand charge assessed only when service is available
Enhanced Firm Backhaul - How does it work? • Transportation contracted for in opposite direction of physical flow • EFBH-1 service creates virtual forward haul capacity (FTS-3) • TW can require customer to flow • FTS-3 shippers utilize capacity created by EFBH service • FTS-3 subject to interruption

Operator Confirmation Process Current Process • Active • Confirmation actively performed for every cycle • Confirmations do not “roll” from cycle to cycle • If an operator does not confirm in the timely process, previous on-time scheduled quantity is used
Operator Confirmation Process Cont’d • Passive • Operator required to confirm in the timely process • Confirmations “roll” from cycle to cycle; incremental increases are NOT confirmed • If an operator does not confirm the timely process, previous on-time scheduled quantity is used • Auto Confirmation • When the shipper is an operator, shipper nominations are automatically confirmed • Applies for all cycles
New Operator Confirmation Option • Confirmation by Exception (Added Option) • All nominations confirmed every cycle • Confirmations can be overridden for any cycle and will roll from cycle to cycle within the gas day • Estimated effective date December 1, 2000
7am Intraday Cycle Proposal • Removal of the 7am cycle planned for December 1, 2000
Helpful Hints • Did you know….. • that on the Nominations Maintenance and Scheduled Quality Screen views, you can access rate information by either clicking on the rates icon in the toolbar or highlight a path and right click under the transportation rate selection • that by using the nomination reconciliation screen, you can determine if your buy/sells match or if a nomination has been confirmed • that using the Path Detective tool can help you analyze your scheduling cuts.
