BOLD VISION CIIP Vision Help skilled immigrants prepare for economic success in Canada by providing pre-arrival services: Group Orientation (GO) My Action Plan (MAP) Online support from a comprehensive network of partners across Canada = Newcomers obtain appropriate employment more quickly

EFFECTIVE DELIVERY Four CIIP offices serving 25 countries in-person and online China: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore India: Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka Philippines UK/Gulf: Bahrain, Bhutan, Denmark, England, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Kuwait, Northern Ireland, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, Wales and Yemen

Participant Profile • FSW destinations: 56% ON, 20% BC, 19% AB, 2% MB, 3% Other • PN destinations: 57% MB, 10% SK, 19% AB, 14% Other including Atlantic Canada • 59% were principal applicants • 53% were 21-35 years of age,42% were 36-50 • 36% 5-10 years experience, 32% 11-20 years • 52% with bachelor-level degrees, 30% with masters-level • Top NOC codes: 26% Health,18% Business, 16% Natural and Applied Sciences, 16% Management • 48% of clients report using an Immigration Agent
IMPRESSIVE RESULTS Graduate and Partner Survey Feedback • 99% of grads said CIIP inspired action • 78% of partners said CIIP grads are more proactive • 99% of clients said CIIP increased their understanding of job prospects in Canada • 96% of clients said they were planning to take action before leaving their country of origin
IMPRESSIVE RESULTS Statistical Results • 23,450CIIP grads by October 2013 • 9,200 (2005-2010) + 14,250 (2010-13) • 49% of CIIP grads employed within three months and 72% within a year • 52% of those employed at three months were working in their field as were 60% at one year
IMPRESSIVE RESULTS Public Policy Success “Pre-arrival services have proven to be an invaluable asset in setting expectations and preparing immigrants for the challenges they will face in Canada.
