MIXTURE You can always tell a mixture because each of the substances can be separated from the group in different physical ways.
SOLUTION A mixture of two or more substances blended so completely that the mixture is the same everywhere and cannot be separated by filtration.
SOLUTION Solutions can be solids dissolved in liquids. They could also be gases dissolved in liquids (such as carbonated water in your favorite soda).
