(1993-1994) • Train car development including: • Responsible for bi-level car interior development • Interior space relationship development; seating and • aisle layout • Seat development- material, color, pattern recommendations • Interpretation of ADA requirements; stanchions, grips, • vestibules, restroom • Development of storage and lighting solutions • Created CAD virtual walkthrough simulation
MARTA - Atlanta, GA. (1980+) • Train car development including: • Responsible for exterior restyling, color, • and graphics • Construction of scale models to demonstrate • design options
NYCT - New York, NY. (1995) - R142, #2 Line • Train car development including: • Responsible for exterior restyling • Consideration for tight turn requirements on #2 line • Developed recommendations for enhanced passenger safety: • lighting configurations, high mounted break lights, • improvements to ingress and egress out of the end • door at track level • Responsibility for coordinating color and graphics with • the New York Arts Commission • Conducted interviews with train system stakeholders; • marketing, maintenance, and service yards
