  3. How Big Is The Milky Way • The milky way galaxy is 1,000,000 light years from edge to edge. • Today we know that the milky way is a huge group of stars called a galaxy. • Scientists use the speed of light to measure the milky way.

  4. What Is The Milky Way • Fun fact! The milky way isn the only galaxy there are billions of other galaxys. • The solar system we call home is a very tiny part of the milky way. • Other stars in our galaxy have planets moveing around them too.
