Process for becoming a citizen • Complete Naturalization Eligibility Worksheet • Fill out “Application for Naturalization” (Form N-400) • Get two photographs taken • Collect the necessary documents • Send you application, documents, and fee to lockbox facility • Receive an appointment letter • Get fingerprinted • Receive notification on schedule for interview • Interviewand written test • Receive a decision • Receive a ceremony date • Interview about what you have done since last interview • Take the oath • Receive your certificate • Go to and apply with the Social Security Administration • Apply for a passport
