VALUES AND BELIEFS • Instructions: • Post values/beliefs at work desk • Meet with leadership mentor every three months: discuss, vent, cry, laugh, strategize… • Journal more, read more and talk with others as a means of increasing my reflexive praxis • Be grateful; provide thanks for random acts of leadership and courage • Laugh each day • Admit to mistakes, faults and not knowing – provide compassion to myself and others • Remain curious and ask questions to learn more of each person’s story • ? • ? • ? COLLABORATION • Instructions: • Once a week have lunch in staff room; work on increasing personal connections by talking about non-work issues • Meet with S.O.R.T. clinicians monthly to problem-solve together • Attend community social work lunch monthly • Remain curious, talk about creative solutions • Remember success is a shared experience: celebrate successful collaboration • Work with colleagues in creating a SW job description to increase role clarity • ? • ? • ? • Ingredients: • Role clarification • Flexibility • Shared Leadership • Learning Purpose • Personal Connections • Mutual respect, Understanding and Trust
