ESTUDO DAS HABILIDADES COGNITIVAS E DO HUMOR DE PRESBIACÚSICOS PRÉ E PÓS-ADAPTAÇÃO DE APARELHO AUDITIVO Sousa, B.R.M.S; Couto, E.A.B; Felipe, L –UFMG HABILIDADES COGNITIVAS , HUMOREAPARELHO AUDITIVO Resultados: Após a utilização do AASI, 77,8% da amostra obteve melhora no desempenho do MEEM e do Teste de Fluência Verbal. Em relação à Lista de Palavras do CERAD, a Evocação consistiu no subteste em que a quantidade de indivíduos que melhoraram sua pontuação foi maior, representando 44,4% da amostra. No Teste do Relógio, observou-se que 44,4% da amostra apresentou melhora e essa mesma porcentagem manteve o desempenho no teste pré e pós adaptação. Verificou-se ainda que a redução das respostas positivas à sintomatologia depressiva também ocorreu em 44,4% da amostra após o uso do AASI. Conclusões: O uso do AASI pode favorecer positivamente as habilidades cognitivas e contribuir para a diminuição da sintomatologia depressiva em idosos presbiacúsicos.
