  2. At feet of the pyramid of Cheops, a wooden solar boat of cedar was found. Consisted of 1224 pieces, you can visit it in a museum specially built towards her discovery.

  3. The hull is composed by hundreds of fragments of wood tied to the rope. Of a length of 43,5m, it requires no nail to hold. Once plunged into the water, the wood swelled and the rope narrowed so assuring the waterproofness of the boat. About 10 years were needed to raise it.

  4. In spite of its 4500 years, the boat is in a perfect state of conservation…
