  2. Introduction The grades 5s were given their solar boat task and have started researching information about a solar boat. They have designed the hull and started wiring circuits.

  3. Hulls To make a fast boat you need a long narrow platform and a testhull, to enable it to reach high speeds. To make a hull you need polystyrene, a saw and a sanding block. We have to make a test hull.

  4. Circuits There are two types of circuits one for sunny days and one for cloudy days. The series circuit is easier to wire because it uses all of the solar panels.

  5. Conclision • In conclusion the grade 5s are enjoying their solar boat task and hope they will not get disqualified.
