2 4 4 5 6 9 17 85 Mode – The number(s) in the list that occurs most often in the list. The may be one mode, no mode or more that one mode. Mod = 4 Range – The difference between the largest and the smallest numbers in the list Range = 85 – 2 = 83
2 4 4 5 6 9 17 85 Quartile – The three numbers that divide the list into four quarters. Q1 = = 4, Q2 = Median 5.5, Q3 = = 13 Inter Quartile Range - The difference between the third quartile and the first quartile. Q Range = 13-4 = 9
