According to a poll by the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion, 35 percent of Americans will make a resolution for this year while 65 percent are not going to bother. • For those who do, there is hope. The Marist poll said of the Americans who make a resolution, 57 percent keep their promise, while 43 percent don't.

  11. Lord, I look forward with hope to all that You have ordained for me this coming year. I purpose to accept the challenges, overcome the obstacles, and receive the blessings You have for me. • I purpose to confess my sins and shortcomings quickly, receive Your forgiveness gladly, and begin again expectantly. • My desire is to run the race set before me with passion, purpose, and hope. In Jesus name!
