  6. Bringing Democracy Home • set up in 2008 • independent Commission • all forms of co-operative & mutual housing • report launched in Parliament in Nov 2009

  14. lots of different fragments that the outside world is confused by • 0.6% of UK housing supply – 18% in Sweden; 15% in Norway; 8% in Austria; 6% in Germany • resources – little or nothing from Government – our memberships – some private support – otherwise mostly voluntary … divided we fall

  15. formed informally as a mutual housing forum • currently a very loose and informal structure • has been focusing on building new homes • could look at changing existing homes • could look at governance/accreditation etc. • is it useful to have a forum? What should it do? Mutual Housing Group
