Discussion Forums (Why?) • Discussion Topics need a forum or container • Organization Uses • Different Types of Discussions • Different Forums for Different Groups • Multiple Topics for each Content Module
Discussion Forums (How-to) • Go to the Discussions area • Click “New Forum” • Give it a title • Save it
Discussion Topics • Click “Save and Add Topic” on the New Forum page • Or click on “New Topic” on the Discussions Page • Choose the Forum • Give it a title • Put the topic in the “Description Box” • Save it
Release Conditions (Why?) • Control the flow of information • Create exceptions for individual students
Release Conditions (How-to) • Edit item condition is being applied to • Click on the “Restrictions” tab • Click on “Create and Attach” • In the pop-up, choose the type and the details. • Click “Create” • Save the item
