  2. Called to a Wayward Generation • The vision of the throne room of God. • God is exalted. • God is worshipped with reverence and exuberant praise. • God is present in ourworship services.

  3. Called to a Wayward Generation • The redemption of the prophet. • Isaiah recognized his imperfection. • His imperfection was burned away.

  4. Called to a Wayward Generation • The calling to serve unrewarded. • Isaiah volunteered before knowing the details. • The people would not respond positively. • The duration was long. • There was a light at the end of the tunnel. (And it’s not a train!)

  5. What does that mean to Me? • Is God being exalted in my life? • Am I worshipping with reverence and exuberant praise?

  6. What does that mean to Me? • Do I recognize my imperfections? • Am I ready for God’s fire to purify me?

  7. What does that mean to Me? • I am called to a very similar generation!
