Introduction • Audience: Any individual who has a bank account. • Purpose: To inform the audience of a correct way to write a check. • In an era of ATM check cards, online bill paying and credit cards, the art of writing a check may be lost. • Bad checks often get bounced.
Instructions • You will need: • A Check-book • A Pen • Bank account information • Calculator
Instructions • Step 1: • Examine your bank account • Make sure you have enough money. • Bounced checks often result in a fee. • Step 2: • Write the Check
Step 2: Write the Check 1. Record the Date: Write the Date here
Step 2: Write the Check 2. Write the name of the Payee: Record the Payee here
Step 2: Write the Check 3. Record the amount you wish to pay in digits: Write the Amount in Digits here
