LED Pulser Electronics Status • Central Muon • PPB and SLP installed in 2 of 6 front end scintillator crates • CES (Central East Side) • Aphi wall 010-020-030(T&B) • PDTs 117-127-137 • PDTs 210-220-230 & 217-227-237 • CEB (Central East Bottom) • Aphi floor 016-026-036 • PDTs 106, 206, 146, 246 • PDTs 116, 136 • Forward Muon • PPB and SLP installed in front end scintillator crates which service North A&B layer (4 crates) Muon Upgrade Meeting - 10Nov2000

LED Pulser DAQ • Secondary local DAQ • Does not run under Trigger Frame Work • Runs in “local mode” • Code is downloaded to Muon Readout Crate (VME162) and acts as a server • Client program called “amp” (Vladimir P.) used to display ROOT histograms • Recent Progress • Amp program now running on the Online Linux machines • d0ol02-d0ol09 • Amp program can now write L3 formatted data to disk • Amp works easily for central muon crate and forward muon pixel octants Muon Upgrade Meeting - 10Nov2000

LED Pulser and Scintillator Readout • LED Pulsing of Central East Side (CES) FES-Crate • Readout PMTs for 206 and its corresponding PIN • Plot 1 is collecting PIN data using Test Pulse Trigger mode in the FE-crate (TP L1-accept) • Plot 2 is collecting PMT and PIN data using local Trig-OR mode in FE-crate • Current Plan • Working on COMICS (Fritz B.) download of LED-Pulser run parameters for each scintillator front-end crate • This includes mapping of all PIN channels & default settings • MuoScLedPulLoad.py CEB • Take more LED Pulser runs !
