  2. Where Is The Mountains Located? • The Mountains are located in North Georgia

  3. Why It Is Popular? • My grandparents have a house in the mountains. We do lots of things there. Here are some: gold mining, biking, hiking, we look for animals, and pick apples.

  4. Minerals • The minerals in the mountains are gold, quartz, rose quartz, and marble.

  5. The mountains have rural housing

  6. What are the Mountains? • The mountains are a habitat where many animals and plants live. Some animals are deer, black bears, owls, and raccoons. There are also many birds there. Some are woodpeckers, cardinals, bluejays, and bluebirds.

  7. Landforms • Landforms are rivers and mountains. There many rivers and waterfalls in the mountains. But there are no major rivers in the mountains.

  8. What is the climate? The climate in the mountains is warm in the summer and cold in the winter. Average rainfall is 60 inches per year.

  9. What plants are in the Mountains? • Some plants in the mountains are pine, maple, oak, rhododendron, and magnolia. There are also many flowers there.
