  1. Syngasco Power Plant Key Differentiators *Syngasco is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wiley consulting group

  2. Advantages Businesses that have high energy costs and need to reduce their carbon emissions will benefit most from this technology. Pollution Prevention - Not Pollution Control Syngasco’s unique Biofuel to energy conversion unit is a proven technology. It is operational and there are three case studies currently performed. One plant is operational in Toledo Ohio. The process was designed for pollution prevention, rather than pollution control. They integrate several processes to produce very clean gas from a wide array of feed stocks, including Petroleum coke, coal, rice straw and other carbon based waste sources. Significant Reduction In Carbon Footprint Syngasco’s proprietary process leads to a 15% - 80% reduction carbon emissions in test studies.

  3. 利点 高いエネルギー費用、または二酸化炭素の発生を抑える必要があるビジネスは本テクノロジの恩恵を最も受けることになります。 Pollution Prevention - Not Pollution Control Syngasco’s unique Biofuel to energy conversion unit is a proven technology.

  4. Footprint and design advantages • The units also minimizes your plant's physical footprint. This modular facility requires a 100 ft. x 100 ft area. • Highly portable - can be disassembled and reassembled in a matter of weeks by 8 people. • Can easily be placed next to refineries and powerplants to aid in waste to energy conversion. No zoning delays. No legal delays. Just construct and power it on. It’s that simple. • Can also be placed off site to serve as a decentralized energy source for cities, universities, refineries, chemical companies and etc… • Minimal refractory or ceramic brick is utilized in the design therefore eliminating expensive and lengthy downtime. • Low labor costs – Only four (4) people required per operating shift. • Minimal emissions profile and discharge allows for timely permitting. • No requirement for separation and injection of oxygen. • No adverse sensitivity to moisture content in the feedstock.

  5. Efficiency • Average Throughput: 500 tons of feedstock daily. • Minimal Capital Expenses to get started : $30-$35 Million USD. Millions vs billions. • Average construction time : 6-8 months • Operational Cost: 1/20th of standard plant • Feedstock cost: Variable, but if waste is used, minimal. • Energy Efficiency: 70%

  6. Key Industries that can benefit • Local governments - to create fuel and electricity for cities and reduce waste simultaneously • Oil refineries – petroleum coke after thermal cracking can be used as feed stock. Saves money normally spent to discard waste. Reduces CO2 because patent pending process recycles the CO2 in the reaction to make syngas. • Chemical industry – CO can be used to make plastics, other intermediates such as methanol, ethanol can be created. • Ceramics Industry • Glass manufacturing • Plastics manufacturing • Aerospace

  7. Syngasco plant output • Can create CH4, CO, H2 in standard configuration. • Attachment of a steam generator - electricity • Attachment of a Fischer Tropsch catalytic converter – ethanol, methanol and other alternative fuels • Specialty chemicals

  8. Syngasco plant feedstocks Plastic sludge Sawdust Corn, Sugar Agricultural Waste Pitch/asphalt Animal Waste products Wheat, grain, seeds, plant material And many more things! • Petroleum Coke • Rice Straw • Cardboard • Paper • Coal • Wood • Grass • Old Car Tires • CO2 ALL can be converted using the Syngasco plants to create clean fuel from the conversion process

  9. Highly Integrated • Syngasco’s unique Biofuel unit design provides efficiency and pollution prevention. The Syngasco Waste to Energy (W2E) thermal conversion process integrates several processes that allows for internal recycling of organic compounds. The end result is improved efficiency, reduce carbon footprint - and very clean fuel. • It is a continuous flow-through process in a controlled environment, using water, temperature, pressure and time, without critical parameters.

  10. Patented Water Clean Up • Recycled Waste WaterSyngasco W2E (Waste to Energy) process cleans the Biofuel using a patented water cleaning system that removes impurities from the fuel. The water reacts with the raw Biofuel to eliminate contaminants and reduce CO2. This is accomplished with plasma technology that purifies and recycles wastewater derived from the enhanced scrubbing process. Internally, the filtering unit and process wastewater eliminate remaining sulphur oxides, nitrogen oxide and particulates. • Recycled Waste Water • Further, the Syngasoco process does not require clean water. That means wastewater from your facility is usable, providing a clean method of wastewater disposal. Since the wastewater ejected from the filtration system is clean, it can be recycled back to the gasification unit. The unit's daily capacity for water consumption is between 100 and 200 tons. All of the water the plant uses is cleaned and recycled. As a result, the syngas plant has NO liquid discharge.
