It is an awful day for people who live in New York, but with all of the help from everyone in the United States, we will be OK!
Do we know who did it?No, we don’t. We know some bad guys did it, and we will find them.
Why did they do it? We don’t know. But that was very mean for them to hurt so many people.
What are we going to do with them when we find the bad guys?
We want them to apologize to all of the people that have been hurt by their action because that was a humongous mistake that they have ever made in their lives. sorry!
What can we do for people who got hurt in New York? • We can send a letter or card to them to make them feel better. • We can send them flowers or toys to cheer them up. • We can tell them that we will be thinking about them all the time. • We will pray for them!
Am I going to be safe in the United States? • Yes, you will! • You will stay with your family, teachers, and friends everyday. • Your parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, and teachers will try their best to protect you, so you will be just fine. Do you know why?
To Teachers and Parents: This is a very difficult time for everyone, but please don’t forget your precious ones. At this time, young children may be exposed to scary scenes from the TV or newspapers and we have to ensure feelings about their future. This book has addressed positive things that happened in New York, such as help from people everywhere. It should help to reassure children of the love of people around them. Please feel free to make a copy of this book and share with anyone you know who may need it.
