  2. BACKGROUND • Created in 1996 to implement the Open Access Same Time Information System at NEPOOL • Reports to the NEPOOL Tariff Committee

OBJECTIVES OF THE NEPOOL OASIS WORKING GROUP • Provide an open forum to discuss OASIS issues • Provide recommendations for the operation of the NEPOOL OASIS node and related FERC Compliance of member companies • Provide support for OASIS Training and Update of the OASIS Users Manual • Recommend Business Practices for NEPOOL OASIS

CURRENT ACTIVITIES • Discuss Transmission Providers OASIS Minimum Requirements under RTO • Approve ISO-NE OASIS Software Yearly Maintenance Contract and Software Upgrades • Discuss and support implementation of FERC Orders 2004, 2004-A and 2004-B on Standards of Conduct for Transmission Providers • Discuss posting of Discounts on OASIS • Coordinate NERC Tag Authority and Approval Services

  7. ACTION ITEMS FOR THE OASIS WG • Support implementation of the RTO-NE OASIS • Introduce Unitil, Fitchburg and MEPCO as new members under RTO • Establish OASIS Fees under RTO • Recommend changes to the OASIS Automation Tool (WebTrans) for HVDC Services under RTO
