How Can I Report a Complaint or Make a Service Request? • Dialing 664-6510 Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 p.m. • Submitting an email to healthyneighborhoods@norfolk.gov • Submitting a request via Request Tracker on Norfolk.gov • Submitting a concern through the Citizen Request Tracker app on you iPhone or iPad

  4. Reporting Complaints or Requests Tips Abandoned/Inoperable Vehicles • Is the vehicle on the street or on the property? • Is the vehicle inoperable? • Does the vehicle have expired inspection or license plates? • Description of the Vehicle (if possible)

Reporting Complaints or Requests Tips • Curbside Trash/Bulk out on Non Collection Day • Address of Property where trash and/or bulk is located • Type of Trash or Bulk Items at Location • Missed Bulk Collections • Must be called within 24 hours of missed collection • Missed Recycling Collections • Must be called within 24 hours of missed collection • Missed Regular Trash/Missed Yard Waste • Must be called within 24 hours of missed collection

  6. Reporting Complaints or Requests Tips Trash and Debris • Is the trash and debris on the property or at the curb? • Is the trash and debris in the front, back or side yard? • Can the trash and debris be seen from the public right of way?

  7. Reporting Complaints or Requests Tips Tall Weeds and Grass • Is the grass over 12”? • Is the grass over 12” throughout the property? • Is the grass located in the front, back or side yard? • Can the grass be seen from the public right of way? • Is the property occupied or vacant?

Reporting Complaints or Requests Tips Street Light Outages • Are the lights one of the following? • Completely Out? • Blinking On and Off? • Running in the Daytime? • Damaged, Broken or Leaning? • Do you have the 9-digit pole number? • What is the closest address to the street light issue? • What is the closest intersection to the street light issue?
