Delegation to St. Francis Inn, Philadelphia March 22-26 St. Francis Inn is a soup kitchen owned and operated by Holy Name Province. The Inn serves meals every day of the year to an average of 300 people/day. Monday through Thursday breakfast and dinner are served to their guests; Friday through Sunday lunch is served. The Inn serves dinner restaurant style which means that guests are seated, served, and leave when they are full and rested. Most days the guests depart with bread of their choice, fruit, and goodies. It is a model which exemplifies the principals of Catholic Social Teaching which protects the life and dignity of the human person. “…Every person has a fundamental right to life and a right to those things required for human decency.” Who could argue that two profound human rights are food and shelter. Many of those who are served at the Inn are hungry and many are homeless. We are called to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ. Are you ready for a life changing experience?

Join in singing: We remember how you loved us to your death and still we celebrate for you are with us and we believe that we will see you when you come in your glory lord. We remember, we celebrate, we believe. As you leave, please turn and reverence the altar with a profound bow.
