  4. The Well-lit Path vs. 16 “…but I and the Father who sent Me." • My Own Claims “Even if I testify about Myself, My testimony is true,…” • The greatest struggle with Christians, American Christians, is they do not really believe the Words of Jesus.

  5. The Well-lit Path vs. 14 “I know where I came from and where I am going." • Jesus is essentially saying: "My knowledge about myself is much greater than your knowledge about me.

  6. The Well-lit Path vs. 14 “I know where I came from and where I am going." So let me encourage you with these words, “Know who you are in Christ – be confident that you are a child of the King, an heir of all things eternal.” Be secure in these things!!!

  7. The Well-lit Path vs. 15 “You judge according to the flesh.” • Superficial Judgment • To judge based solely on outward appearance is Pharisaical and unacceptable before God

  10. The Well-lit Path vs. 19 “…if you knew Me, you would know My Father also” • Who’s your Daddy? When we call into question the legitimacy of Jesus -then we throw out all possibility of knowing who the Father is - knowing who God is.

  11. The Well-lit Path Jesus said, "no man comes unto the Father accept by Me." Jesus said, "I and the Father are one." Jesus said, I proceeded forth and come from God." Jesus said, "He who has seen me has seen the Father.“ Jesus said, "And He who beholds Me beholds the One who sent Me." Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God." Even the great Apostle said, "...He is the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation." The reason so many have not seen God is that they have yet to see the Son. We must show them the light – we must show them the well-lit path!!! Only then will the darkness lift.

  12. Things to Take with You and Practice • I believe Jesus meant, Follow Me, Walk with Me, Stay with Me and when you do He will place light in your path. • So let me encourage you with these words, “Know who you are in Christ – be confident that you are a child of the King an heir of all things eternal. Be secure in these things!!!” • We have the greatest opportunity of all – leading others to the light – we must show them the well-lit path!!! Only then will the darkness lift.
