Positive and Productive African American Males in Oakland are in danger of becoming extinct if we do not implement systemic changes to their OUSD reality.
Program Description The Manhood Development Program is designed to be a place where African American male students develop the skills and knowledge required to be positive and productive men in their community.
Two Primary Objectives The first objective is to develop the social emotional skills required to navigate life’s obstacles. The second objective is to learn and embrace African and African American history and to use it to develop a love, appreciation, and respect for being African American.
