  1. What Are Foods That Boost Immunity in Children? We all understand that whatever we eat, has an impact on our health, especially on an immune system. Therefore, it is always good to aim for good food that is not only healthy but also develops immunity so that children can stay protected all-the-year-round. The proper development of immunity is much-needed in children during their growing years, hence healthy and nutritionally-balanced food is the only way which can keep children immuned and active. Foods that boost Immunity in children Yoghurt: Yoghurt is not only packed with vitamins and protein, but also a good source of probiotics. Probiotics are the live yeasts which keep the gut healthy and also maintain the proper digestive system. It fights off the bad bacteria thereby keeping a child healthy and free from any infection. It helps in building immunity in children. Carrots: Carrots are the best source of beta carotene. Beta carotene supports the mucus membrane of a human body, which resides in the lines of respiratory and intestinal tracts. It prevents any bacterial infection which may enter the bloodstream and cause any trouble. Thus, carrots are said to be good for boosting immunity in children.

  2. Cinnamon: Cinnamon has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which can fight pathogens causing illness. This makes a child free from any seasonal infection like cold and flu. Cinnamon is versatile and hence can be consumed in multiple ways, like adding less than a half teaspoon of it in warm milk, sprinkle it on oatmeal, etc. Broccoli: Broccoli and cauliflower are those vegetables which contain the highest level of Vitamin C. As a matter of fact, there are certain cells in our immunity which need high numbers of vitamin C to perform better. And therefore, citrus fruits and the vegetables having high levels of Vit C are usually served to a child to keep him strong and healthy. Almonds: Almonds are the perfect healthy snacks for a child. These can be added in salads, milkshakes, porridges, etc. Almonds are a rich source of vitamins and minerals that help to build up immunity in children. Additionally, almonds are the rich source of protein and iron too. Eating well and a nutritionally balanced diet is the only way to build up immunity in growing children.
