Counting • Sometimes it is hard to count when there are so many objects in the way to distract the counter. • That is when you can separate the groups into different sections and then add the sections together. • Soon it will become easier to count the different groups without separating them. • Here is an example of using groups. • Counting yellow circles 1+1+1+1=4 1 1 1 1 1
Now Lets Try Something A Bit Harder • Let us start with a small group and work up from there. • Can you count how many blue balls there are? • Click on the correct answer
When there is a multiple amount to count just separate the section into different groups Now that they are in separate groups can you count how many blue balls there are? 2+1+0+1=4 1 0 1 2
