Coarse Overview A. General Objectives: * Study of normal haematopoiesis and its controlling factors. * Introduction to the different types of anaemias and their pathological and clinical features. * Study of the pathology and clinical features of benign and malignant leukocyte disorders.
A. General Objectives * Study of the myeloproliferative disorders. * Study of the plasma cell disorders. * Study of hereditary and acquired bleeding disorders. * Study of the applied aspects of blood transfusion.
A. General Objectives B. This course is delivered in the form of 20 didactic lectures introducing the 4th year medical student to the blood physiology and the pathological disorders of each individual cell lines. C. The assessment will be the form of MCQs among the rest of other disciplines of clinical pathology posting.
Expectation from Students The students are generally expected to: *Keep a punctual attitude towards attendance of sessions. *Develop an ethical approach towards patients and carry out their responsibilities as he learns. *Seek knowledge from the books other sources including journals and websites
