Mr Yap Chin SiangDirectorNortheast Asia DirectorateMinistry of Trade & IndustryHe is responsible for formulating and implementing Singapore’s plans to engage the Northeast Asian region on the economic front, including China, Japan Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. This includes promoting Singapore’s interest through bilateral engagement as well as within the framework of regional for a like APEC and ASEAN. Mr Yap graduated from the University of Cambridge, Emmanuel College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (2nd Class Upper Honours) in 1991. Singapore Customs Mr Garry Pang Senior Superintendent of Customs Singapore Customs Garry Pang has been working in Singapore Customs for seven years and has the rank of Senior Superintendent of Customs. He is currently attached to the Rules of Origin Unit, which is responsible for the issuance of Preferential Certificate of Origin under the respective Free Trade Agreements.
