Review Mean Scores • 7th Graders were not significantly below the district and state scores for all test forms. • 8th graders were significantly below the district and state. • Why? 7th Graders were gifted Students • Since 50 is the average score for all students we are above the average.
Content Area Findings • 3 Content Areas: Functions, Polynomials, and Rational numbers. • Between form comparisons should not be made, but there is no significant difference between forms. • Significant difference exists between grade levels. • Values are in % Correct
Major Findings in Content Area • Weakness: Rationals • There was a -17% difference between CCMS 7th graders and the average of all seventh graders in the state on Rationals. • 8th Graders had an -11% difference in rationals between district and state.
