  3. Foundation Studies Aseptic technique OSCE • NMC ESC 25ii: • Safely performs basic wound care using clean and aseptic techniques through simulation

  4. Feedback sheet • Piloted 2007-8 - summative since Sept 08 • Criteria and format agreed with local Trusts • Feedback sheet in 6 categories. Achieved Yes/No • Assessor in role of mentor • No time limitation • Hand decontamination – no prompts allowed • Limited prompts allowed for other aspects • Immediate feedback- verbal & mark sheet
