Our Mission Statement As the voice of Spill Response Professionals, SCAA represents a broad coalition of emergency responders, manufacturers and environmental firms who collectively address Industry challenges, in order to strengthen and improve our nation’s response community.
Our Statement of Values • Make health, safety and environmental considerations a priority in the planning and implementation of our operations; • Provide quality products and reputable service, while responding safely and efficiently;
Statement of Values (cont.) • Participate with Government, customers and other stakeholders in creating responsible laws, regulations and standards to safeguard the community, workplace and environment; and • Recognize and support programs and services that have a direct impact on the quality of the global environment.

Moving Forward SCAA’s 2014 Business Plan • SCAA leaders and staff met by conference call to develop the Business Plan for SCAA for 2014 that focuses attention on SCAA’s most important initiatives • The plan will be reviewed and adjusted for 2015
Moving Forward • The 2014 Plan mirrors the work of SCAA’s newly formed committees: • Membership • Government Affairs • Planning • Technical Advancement • Inland Spills • The Plan also looks at long-range, 5 year goals and past achievements
