  1. STUDY OF THE BOOK OF JOB Part 7 – When Your Relationship with God Seems Questionable

  2. Study of the book of Job • When Opinions Become the Voice or Choice of God! • Chapter 11 – Zophar (ZOE-FAR) the Naamathite • Verses 1-6 • Zophar accuses Job of mocking (not taking seriously) God and His alleged actions toward Job because of his unadmitted iniquities (sins). • The true feelings of some people toward you will surface faster and clearer when you are experiencing hard to explain difficulties. • All good things are from God, all bad things are not punishments from God.

  3. Study of the book of Job • Be careful of people who claim to know God better than everyone else, including you! • Verses 7-11 • Zophar is confident that he knows God better than Job.

  4. Study of the book of Job • Verses 12 – 20 • Zophar accuses Job of stupidity and stubbornness. • Zophar’s responses are not far from many people today who always feel that they have a better view of our relationship with God and our desire to sin better and clearer than we do ourselves regarding ourselves!

  5. Study of the book of Job • It is important to know who you are as well as what your relationship with God is! – Job’s Response, Chapters 12, 13 • Don’t be afraid or ashamed to disagree with people as they attempt to define you in your struggles, especially if they are claiming that what is happening to you is punishment from God because of sins that you are refusing to admit! • There will come a time when you will have to decide on a direction or course of action without the usual help of those that you once called friends. Be confident in your trust and relationship with God!

  6. Study of the book of Job • The unfair experiences of life will cause you to see things differently, which maybe as they ought to be seen. Job’s response continued, Chapter 14
