MBio Graduate School Encompasses ~ 265 students currently enrolled: • Anatomy and Developmental Biology • Biochemistry and Molecular Biology • Microbiology • Pharmacology • Physiology • Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences • Monash Immunology and Stem Cell Laboratories • Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI)
History • 2006 Prof Elizabeth Blackburn visit. • 2007 Working group developed graduate school proposal. • 2008 Funding obtained from DVC(R), Faculty and SOBS. • 2009 Establishment of MBio Graduate School. Aims • Enrich and broaden the student experience; • Provide opportunities for scientific and professional development; • Provide international postgraduate opportunities; • Access to multidisciplinary research platforms; • Provide increased interactions and collaborations amongst the student cohort.
