  2. Description Tasmanian Devils are mammals with black fur. It have a black nose. It has claws. They have short legs and claws. They are 20 to 30 inches long. They have sharp teeth.

  3. Habitat The Tasmanian devil lives near Australia. They Iive on the island of Tasmania.

  4. Diet • The Tasmanian devil is a carnivore. It eats meat. They eat raw meat. They eat birds and wombats insects. They eat carrion or dead mammals.

  5. Survival • Tasmanian Devils are in danger from a disease (cancer) that kills many of them. Farmers poison them. They defend themselves by growling, screaming, showing teeth.
