STARTER • Keep to your lane at all time • Perform Balanced position • Move quickly with body slightly bent • Hands are in line with the side of the body • Land on the balls of the feet when running correct arm and leg movements around the body • Use high knees with arms swinging by your side. • Run in your lane • Eyes must be facing forward all the time.

  8. Bunch and medium start Bunch starts • stand behind the starting line. Pupils are to go on a crouch position at your marks call. The foot of the leading leg placed in front about a foot length behind the starting line. Toes of the rear leg should be placed on the same line with the toes of the leading leg slightly apart. Medium • stand behind the starting line. Pupils are to go on a crouch position at your marks call. The foot of the leading leg placed in front about a foot length behind the starting line. Toes of the rear leg should be placed on the same line with the arch of the foot of the leading leg slightly apart.
