Database on Learning forSustainable Development – intention & objectives To develop an freely accessible online database with the aim to: • share and exchange knowledge and experiences among academic and non-academic stakeholders in the field of learning for sustainable development • provide as much information as possible on ESD practice • contain a wide range of projects that deliver ESD networking HE institutions with both regional networks as well as learning networks
Focus of the database Projects within the database are allocated to: • Regional development • Multi-oriented learning approaches • Multi-stakeholder involvement • Transdisciplinarity • Empowerment

Lessons learned • The database questions are comprehensive time intensive to add projects • Difficulty in finding the balance between high quality projects and length/comprehensiveness
