How to avoid a stinging incident: • Stay away from honeybee colonies, • Have feral swarms and colonies removed from your yard or premises, • Check work area when using machinery such as mowers, edgers, blowers, or other heavy equipment.
Bees collecting pollen or nectar are called “foraging bee”. When they are away from “home” they are rarely defensive.
