  4. Highlight the Context Highlight the context you write in a CD sentence. A quote by itself is NOT a CD sentence.

  5. Stating Context with Lead-in Words Here are some possible lead-in words with which you can start your sentence: When After Since Whileas Before Although.

  6. Context Shown in Blue After Kenny told the story about the lipless wonder, “Byron flipped me a dirty sign.”(Curtis, 19).
