Control valves vs. Pressure Transducers • Due to first Control Valves tender failure, the Control Valves for the first VBoxes can be expected by the end of the Sept. 2017 • This generate the delay in the CDS-EL production and installation • In order to reduce the delay it is consider to order the Control Valves for first 2 Valve Boxes at Kriosystem • This can reduce the delay by 3-4 weeks

  3. Control valves vs. Pressure Transducers • WUST can place the additional order to Kriosystems up to 10% of the contract value or up to 209 kEuro gross without any additional procurement procedure. • The offer value for 2 sets of the Control Valves is 138 kEuro brutto

Control valves vs. Pressure Transducers • There is also issue of the Pressure Transducers (PT) procurement: • The Honeywell PT, as a „standard” product, has no radiation resistance certification • If the radiation resistance requirement will be in the WUST tender specification, probably only very expensive, Emerson PT will be offered • If there is no the radiation resistance requirement will be in tender specification, many „standard” product can be offered. • Then „the cheapest” product must be selected

Control valves vs. Pressure Transducers • The idea is to procure the Honeywell PTs via the Kriosystem. • The cost of PTs is of 100 kEuro gross • If we would like to procure the Control Valves for 2 VBoxes and PTs via Kriosystem it is necessary to increase the contract value by 240 kEuro gross against 209kEuro available
