Concept 1- Phone App -Simple Interface -Selection of bright Colours -Consistent Background (Zoo Theme)
Concept 1- Phone App -Simplicity, Not too many elements -The Colour Green (Zoo Theme) -Use of the Gorilla Icon , One of Bristol Zoo’s Main Attractions
Concept 2- Virtual Pets -Keep children entertained -Provide a lasting memory of visit -Rewards and prizes to be archived -Keeps visitors interested in the Zoo after they have left the park
Concept 3- QR Codes -Adds a new level of interaction -Encourages and helps children to learn -Simply looking at animals becomes a convergence of media platforms
Concept 4- Interactive Map -Accessible on phones and tablets -GPS or WiFi to find user’s location -Synergy with other interactive experiences -Access details of the park and enclosures
Future Developments -Fixed Cameras that overlay the animals with a background of their habitat using Chroma Key -Difficult to implement on smaller devices -Live webcam video feeds to watch animals from home
