By eating small, nutritious meals throughout the day you can keep your energy level high and your mind alert. O ranges and other fruits contain an impressive list of essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals for normal growth and development and overall well-being. M ilk is a great source of calcium! Be calcium rich. If you don’t or can’t consume milk, choose other calcium sources like spinach, kale, and soy beans. E at a balanced diet to keep your body happy and healthy. C reate an eating schedule and stick to it. A consistent schedule will maintain eating patterns and help prevent excess weight gain. O ccasionally, 1-2 times week, treat yourself to something sweet. Eating candy regularly can have a negative effect on your body, but 1-2 times per week candy bar can be part of a healthy diet. M eat and beans will help you go lean on protein! Choose lean meats and poultry, and fish (if you’re not vegetarian/vegan). Bake it, broil it, or grill it. Vary your choices with beans, peas, nuts and seeds. I f you eat shortly after waking up it will help moderate hunger throughout the day. N othing makes you more unhappy and prone to over or under-eating than obsessing about every little thing you consume, weighing yourself, or constantly criticizing your body. Your body is BEAUTIFUL, so LOVE IT! G etting enough calories is essential for your energy supply.
