  2. As part of their visa applications, many foreigners aspire to become US citizens. US residency can be obtained through the EB-5 immigrant investment visa through investments in businesses that generate direct or indirect employment opportunities for US citizens. In an attempt to encourage economic growth, Congress introduced the EB-5 Regional Center Program in order to preserve EB-5 visas for investors who participate in commercial enterprises associated with USCIS-approved regional centers.
