DISK STACK CENTRIFUGE A centrifuge is a piece of equipment, generally driven by a motor, that puts an object in rotation around a fixed axis, applying force perpendicular to the axis. Essentially works like a clarifier providing better control over residence time.
Purpose of Centrifugation • Since ours is a fermentation based bio process, the ISOLATION and the purification of the Insulin is the immediate goal once the fermentation step is concluded. • In Insulin production, used to separate desired proteins from unwanted biomass.
