  17. Workplace SkillsAssessment Program DECA students compete yearly in business-related events at the regional, provincial, and international levels. These events develop, measure, and recognize the leadership abilities, technical skills, and classroom training of students. • Information Processing • Networking • Administration • Multimedia Design • Communication Skills • Programming Languages • Accounting • Starting your Own Business • Developing Business Plans • Parliamentary Procedure

  18. Membership • Ontario is divided into 9 regions ~ primarily by School Boards • Ontario has the fourth highest membership with over 6 100 members in the Secondary and 990 members in the Post-Secondary divisions

  20. Community Partnerships • DECA Ontario’s official charity is Dreams Take Flight. Each year, we send critically ill kids to Disney Land. To date, we’ve raised over $18 000 for this worthwhile cause. • Sample activities include: • Relay for Life • Dance Fundraisers • Other volunteer programmes
