Student Legal Services • Maintained by one full-time lawyer, two clerks who are WVU law students and a full-time legal secretary. • We provide services to all students with legal issues including, but not limited to, the following areas of law: leases, contracts, landlord/tenant issues, consumer issues, notary services, insurance matters, wills and powers of attorney, debt collection, expungement of criminal records, employment grievances, family law and domestic matters, and general civil matters. • Must have an appointment: (304) 293-4897
Student Health • Located on the Health Science Campus (PRT to Medical) in the basement of the Health Sciences Center (follow the yellow tape) • Can assist you with any medical issues (flu shots, check ups, birth control, ect…) • If you need an appointment: (304) 285-7200
Safe Zone • Designed to foster an atmosphere of support for the LGBTQ WVU community. • Not counselors, but if you need someone to talk to, they are there.
Carruth Center • If you need professional counseling, the Carruth Center offers a variety of counselors • You can meet with them several times, for free (part of your student fees) • Located in the building above the Mountainlair • Appointment scheduling: (304) 293-4431

Condom Caravan • The WELLWVU Office of Wellness and Health Promotion aims to inform students about sexual health and encourages sexually active students to make responsible decisions regarding their sex life. • WELLWVU provides the option for students to purchase condoms at a discounted rate of $0.25 per condom, or 5 for $1. These condoms can be purchased during the Condom Caravan or at the WELLWVU OWHP office. • The Condom Caravan will be held in the Mountainlair from 11am – 1pm on the following dates: • Tues. 1/28Fri. 2/14Tues. 2/25Tues. 3/25Tues. 4/22
